"What makes a university a comfortable place for LGBTQ+ people?"
The words diversity and inclusion are everywhere. LGBTQ+ people are more visible than ever before, and companies are keen to present themselves as inclusive. But what is the situation in higher education?
We are holding an online symposium to share the findings of recent research on LGBTQ+ people and to connect LGBTQ+ people and allies in higher education, in the hope of contributing to universities that are comfortable places for LGBTQ+ people.
In the webinar, research findings, the voices of LGBTQ+ people of various backgrounds and actual initiatives at individual universities will be presented, followed by a general discussion.
