The UDA successfully ran a booth for two days, 20 and 21 April, at the recent Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024 (TRP2024).
Many visitors stopped by the booth on both days, and it was striking to see them picking up the pamphlets from the various universities and reading about their initiatives.
Visitors of university age told us they wanted their own universities to take action too, and some learned for the first time at our booth that their university was already doing so. We also heard from graduates who were pleased to find their alma mater represented.
Being able to share with visitors that many universities are making progress, even if step by step, was, we feel, very worthwhile.
