The UDA successfully ran a booth for two days, 6 and 7 June, at Tokyo Pride 2026, now held in June since last year under the name "Tokyo Pride", which is becoming established.
Many visitors stopped by on both days, picking up the pamphlets from the various universities and reading about each one's initiatives with great interest.
This year in particular, perhaps because the university-related booths were grouped together, more undergraduate and graduate students than ever stopped by. More students than in previous years told us they wanted their own universities to take action too. Encouragingly, some also said they felt heartened simply by the fact that so many universities were exhibiting.
We hope we were able to show as many people as possible the steps that many universities are taking, undeterred, to become better campuses for everyone.
