The UDA successfully ran a booth for two days, 7 and 8 June, at Tokyo Pride 2025, which this year moved to June and changed its name from "Tokyo Rainbow Pride" to "Tokyo Pride".
Once again many visitors stopped by the booth, and it was striking to see them picking up the pamphlets from the various universities and reading closely about their initiatives. Passers-by who appeared to be graduates could often be heard remarking that their alma mater was there.
In addition, many young visitors of university age stopped by, and several asked how they could get initiatives started at their own universities.
We hope we were able to show, even a little, that in the current climate many universities are continuing, undeterred, to work towards better campuses.
